A living armiger, Guy Carlton Irvin was born in 1934 in Oak Park, Illinois, USA. His son, Guy Clifford Irvin, III, was born in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois. The armiger was appointed, and later elected, Chairman of Clan Irvin Association in July 1995. In July of 2000 he was appointed Lieutenant to David Irvine of Drum, Chief of the Name and Arms of Irvine. The armiger was elevated as his High Commissioner for North America on 31 July 2003. dqw 20110117.
