The Right Reverend Robert Todd Giffin, CStJ, DD, is the Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the Central and Western States of the Anglican Province of America. Bishop Giffin was born in 1970 in Indianapolis, In. He was baptized in April 1971 at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, McLean, VA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN, and a Master of Divinity degree from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, WI and was awarded the Doctor of Divinity degree (Honoris Causa) from Saint Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary in 2019 in Charlotte, NC. He was consecrated a Bishop on 6 October 2012 at the Anglican Church of St. Andrew the Evangelist in Merrillville, IN.
Bishop Giffin married Norma Jean Bustamante of San Antonio, TX and they are the parents of three children: Catherine Elizabeth, Maria Christina and William Royall Giffin. The Bishop and his family reside in San Antonio, TX
Bishop Giffin was granted arms on 1 November 2013 by the Chief Herald of Ireland with an Interlocuter signed by the Lord Lyon on 3 September 2020 to matriculate these in Scotland.
