Elibank, Lords of

Lord Elibank of Ettrick Forest in the County of Selkirk, is a title in the Peerage of Scotland. It was created in 1643 for Sir Patrick Murray, 1st Baronet, with remainder to his heirs male whatsoever. He had already been created a Baronet, of Elibank, in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia in 1628.

Thomas Fairfax, 9th Lord Fairfax of Cameron was an American born Scottish peer, who along with his father, on 11 December 1799, was among the last guests at Mount Vernon before Washington died. Thomas descended from Sir Thomas Fairfax for whom Charles I created the title of Lord Fairfax of Cameron on 18 Oct 1627 in the Peerage of Scotland.
