Stephen Gregory Clackson, an English armiger who petitioned The College of Arms for and received English arms on 28 April 1998. He then petitioned the Lord Lyon to matriculate these arms for use in Scotland. This was accomplished 23 October 2001 on page 57 of Volume 74. We have entered him here because it was felt his arms were visually interesting.

We think its possible that Mr. Clackson petitioned for a Scottish matriculation around the time he purchased the West Manse in the center of the Isle of Sanday in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. He is married and has several children.

We remember that Mr. Clackson was an active early member of the now defunct Forum of the Heraldry Society of Scotland.

The artwork is a rendering by John Hamilton Gaylor
