Archbishop Christopher James Coyne, is a prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, serving as Archbishop of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Hartford in Connecticut since May 2024.

He was appointed by Pope Francis to succeed Archbishop Leonard Paul Blair who had been in that position since 2012. Archbishop Coyne is the 6th Archbishop and 14th Bishop of Hartford.

Archbishop Coyne was born in 1958 to William and Rita Coyne of Woburn, MA. He was Ordained as a Priest of Boston in 1986 and as Auxiliary Bishop of Indianapolis, IN in 2011. He was appointed Bishop of Burlington, VT in 2014.

He was appointed Coadjutor Archbishop of Hartford, CT on 26 June 2023 succeeding as Archbishop on 1 May 2024.
