List of Chancellors to the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle

The office of the Chancellor is mentioned and given custody of the seal of the Order in the statutes of 1687, but no one was appointed to this office until 1913. This office has since been held by one of the Knights of the Thistle, albeit not necessarily the most senior.
