Fox Laughs

This Scottish journal cover is a spoof of course, created by Martin Peter Kielty, a Scot, who is the author of an historical novel “Simon the Fox” about the 11th Lord Lovat of Fraser written about the same time as “The Last Highlander” by Sarah Fraser. In fact the two authors knew each other and communicated about Lord Lovat in the period of 2011-14.

Martin Kielty has given me permission to reproduce this illustration on the SSA website.

The “Simon the Fox” book is still available new in softcover from amazon.com in both the US and the UK as I write costing $15.88 on up.
