David Gamme was an esquire and bodyguard to King Henry V at the Battle of Agincourt and was killed defending, and thus saving the life of his king.

We have entered this relatively unknown hero in the SSA website and in our own armorial for his gallantry in action in the sacrifice of his life for another
on St. Crispin’s day 25 October 1415
