Sir Francis James Grant, KCVO, WS, FSA (Scot) (1863-1953)

Francis James Grant, CVO, Lord Lyon King of Arms, shown accompanying HRH The Duke of York, and the Reverend Charles Laing Warr, DD, Dean of the Thistle, proceeding to the Armistice Service at St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh in 1933.

Grant received the KCVO in 1935 becoming Sir Francis, the Rev. C. L. Warr, DD received the GCVO in 1967 and HRH The Duke of York became HM King George VI in 1936.
