Pirie William Frederick Hogarth of Firhill, a living armiger, born in 1933, he succeeded his cousin as 9th of Firhill in 1967. Sometime RAF Flight Lt. he served in the Middle East & the Far East and is lately the publisher of the Baronage Press. He is a close relation of the late Charles Harry Clinton Pirie-Gordon of Buthlaw, an adventurous fellow & editor of the 1937 BLG ( See Buthlaw’s entry elsewhere in this website).
