B&W illustration for the achievement of the Marquis of Huntly. The illustration is found on page 505, “The Scots Peerage”, Volume IV, 1907, David Douglas, Edinburgh, edited by Lord Lyon Sir James Balfour Paul.
The illustration is a rendition by Graham Johnston, Heraldic Painter to the Court of the Lord Lyon who did all the full page achievements and initial letters illustrations for the nine volumes of “The Scot’s Peerage” in the period 1904-1914.
