Arms: Gules, a fess chequy Azure and Argent between a lion passant guardant Argent in chief and a pot of three growing lilies Argent in base.

Crest: The head, neck and wings of a swan Or, the neck charged of a maple leaf Gules.

Motto: FESTINA LENTE (make haste slowly)

Granted : The Court of the Lord Lyon in 1987 by Lord Lyon Sir Malcolm Innes of Edingight, KCVO, recorded in the Public Register, Volume 71, Folio 32. These arms were registered in 1997 by the Canadian Heraldic Authority.

SOURCE, NOTES & CREDITS: Roger Lindsay petitioned the Court of the Lord Lyon a second time to be recognized as the Feudal Baron of Craighall and to receive the appropriate baronial additaments. Roger Alexander Lindsay of Craighall, Baron of Craighall, KStJ, FSA Scot, born in 1941 in Dundee, Scotland was a Chartered Accountant (Scotland) who emigrated to Canada and in 2006 was appointed as Rouge Herald of Arms Extraordinary at the Canadian Heraldic Authority.

Lindsay of Craighall was a Charter Member of the Society of Scottish Armigers (SSA).

Lindsay was an Aide-de-Camp to the Lt.-Governor of Ontario and was a Knight of Justice of the Order of St. John. He held the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal & the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Roger Lindsay of Craighall died on 30 Mar 2023 at age 82.

The artwork appears to be an interpretation of the Lion Court Artist from the letters patent.
