Arms: Azure a castle triple towered and embattled Argent masoned Sable, window and port Gules, in chief an anchor Or between two thistles aliped and leaved Argent, on a chief of the last a Scottish claymore fessways Sable.

Crest: a bull’s head cabossed Sable horned Or between two flags styed Sable, the first Azure a book expanded Or, bindings and fore-edges Argent, the second Azure the sun in his splendour Or.

Dr. Donald Murdock McLeod of Rothie, third son of Clyde Murdock McLeod, resides in British Columbia, Canada, was born in 1953 and married in 1976 Christine Lois, daughter of Donald Gordon Dooley and has by her a son and heir, Magnus Murdock Bruce McLeod of Rothie, Younger, and as well two more sons and a daughter. He is infeft in all and the whole of the lands and estate of Rothie. dqw 2013 0515
