Arms: Quarterly: 1st and 4th, Argent a saltire engrailed between four roses Gules ( for Napier); 2nd and 3rd, or on a bend Azure a mullet pierced between two crescents of the field within a double-tressure, flory counterflory of the second (for Scott of Thirlestane) with a label Vert over all for difference.

William Alexander Hugh, Master of Napier, was born on 10 June 1996 and is the son and heir of the Lord Napier, Sir Francis David Charles Napier of Merchistown, the 15th Lord Napier (S, 1627), 6th Baron Ettrick (UK, 1872) & 12th Baronet of Thirlestane (NS, 1666), who was born on 3 Nov 1962, married in 1993, Zara Jane, only daughter of Hugh Dermot McCalmont. The Lord Napier succeeded to the titles on 15 March 2012 upon the death of his father.
