The late David John Ramsay, born 17 April 1931, was a retired US Army Colonel and a former Commandant of the Veteran Corps of Artillery, State of New York, one of eight Historic Military Commands, established in 1790, as well as a friend of long standing. He died on12 March 2019, age 87.
