Don Narciso Salvo, Marchese di Pietraganzili, Knight Grand Cross of Justice of the Constantinian Order of St. George (Madrid) was born in 1946 the son of son of Don Francesco, Marchese di Pietraganzili and Liliana of the Counts d’Amelio. The Salvos are an ancient uradel illustrious Sicilian family, ennobled the 13th century, granted the title of Hereditary Knight by Philip II, King of Spain, and created Baron of Verbumcaudo, Count of Gallitano, and in 1814 Marchese di Pietraganzili. He is a descendant of Don Pietro Ugo, Marchese of the Favare, Viceroy of Sicily (1824 – 1830).

Don Narciso graduated from the University of Palermo with a degree in Jurisprudence and served as a Lieutenant in the “Nizza Cavalleria”, the Italian 1st Dragoon Regiment. He married in 1977 to Matilde of the Counts Bocca and Visconti di Modrone and they have a son Francesco.

Don Narciso was awarded the Grand Cross of Honor and Devotion in Obedience of the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta and is the Heraldic Consultor of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. He is President of the College of Heraldry, Rome publishers of the Libro d’Oro della Nobilta Italiana. He is President of the Sicilian Association of Nobles of the Italian Corps of Nobility (CNI) and President of their Heraldic Commission. In January 2020 he was appointed as a Councilor of the Royal Deputation of the Constantinian Order of St. George (Madrid).
