The armiger born in 1952 in Opportunity, Washington, attended Clover Park High School in Lakewood, WA, the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA and Columbia University Senior Executive Program, New York City, NY. He worked for 37 years for the United Parcel Service (UPS) with varying responsibilities in operations and engineering in the US, Latin America, Canada, Europe, Middle east and Asia, retiring in 2008 as Vice President of Corporate Strategy. He resides in Alpharetta, GA and Winters, TX and is married with two children and four grandchildren.

Michael Todd McAlpin, Sr. was elected to the SSA Board of Governors at the Annual General Meeting on 21 October 2017.

He is the Commander of Clan McAlpine as of 19 April 2017. See his appointment in the Album for Grants and Matriculations on this site.
